Evidentally, my methods are wrong, but my goals are good.

Or my methods are okay, but I have the wrong goals.

Or both are wrong, but my intentions are good.

Or my methods are wrong, but that is good because it means I do not achieve my goals, which are also not good, because I have bad intentions.
