Some of you have heard me blather on about a 1950's study from the Ford Foundation comparing students who complete high school with equivalent students who went to college directly after their sophomore years of high school.

Well, the good people at the Ford Foundation seem to have put the (a) report from the study on line:

This is the woman who prevented the recount of votes in Florida in 2000.

U.S. Representative and senatorial candidate Katherine Harris, in comments to the Florida Baptist Witness (weekly journal of the Florida Baptist State Convention), observed:

“If you are not electing Christians, tried and true, under public scrutiny and pressure, if you’re not electing Christians, then in essence you are going to legislate sin.

“If we are the ones not actively involved in electing those godly men and women,” then “we’re going to have a nation of secular laws. That’s not what our Founding Fathers intended and … certainly isn’t what God intended.”
