Moderation
Nov. 6th, 2007 12:54 pmI've noted from time to time the idiocy of the 'adult' message board I frequent.
Unlike several others, this one only has one owner/admin/moderator - an even-handed sort who really has hoped/expected the members of his board to "act like adults' - by which, he means with some degree of maturity.
Finally, after more than half a year of bickering and coy and not so coy digs and attacks, he has acted. He has directed a couple members to remove offensive, attacking signatures. And he has actually warned one of the posters.
How do I know he warned one? Nope, not me! It appears with their name and avatar, where every other poster can see that he has been warned.
I'm not sure that I like it. But I am certainly not sure that I don't!
