Arising out of a conversation with
siderea, I thought I would post briefly about a couple of books that I found useful and thought-provoking many moons ago when I was a gradual student at Harvard in education.
Entry was one and Leadership and Learning was the other. Barry Jentz and Joan Wofford are the forces behind them. The first looked at how a new supervisor gets started and what useful goals are and how to plan for them. The L & L Book explores "Personal Change in a Professional Setting."
Both have long since been updated - it was 25 years ago, about, that I was there!
By reports of those I have steered to their site to look at the updated works, it seems as if the newer books are that much better than the old.
