4. Where did the name "Josh" come from, and why do you prefer that to your birth name?

My legal name is Joseph. If you remove the ep from it, you get Josh. My Nebrew name is (roughly) Yehoshua (Joshua).

My Father's father was Joseph as well. He was called Joe. My Great Grandfather, William was called Will or William - my brother is Bill. They made a point of giving us different nicknames than the person after we were named had.

I have been Josh from before I was aware of a name at all. It is, in many ways, as much my 'birth name' as Joseph is.
