Ironic Line of the Week

Off on the Yankees discussion forum, where the adults passionately write about the teams they love (or hate) and the other posters, whom they love (or hate), a poster 'penned' the following classic rebuttal to somebody who accused her of lack of humility:

And don't you ever preach to me about humility. I have more humility in my little finger than you have in your entire body

That just says it all, doesn't it?

Is it a safe assumption to make that the person who made this claim, is, in fact, a yankees fan?

While what you say is true, it is not relevant (though that would be her claim if somebody tried to point out the irony to her).

"If there's a person here more humble than me, I'd like him to stand up and say so!"

Got your message about rainbow brains. Was amused. ^_^ (Was a nice interlude to my response paper to a clinical study on pure word deafness in monkeys and humans, and so rather appropriate, too.)

Also: from weird coincidence land, somebody else is apparently having similar problems.
