For several weeks, now, I have been keeping a secret from Susan concerning her birthday, which was the 30th.
She does not always like surprises, but I was pretty comfortable that this one would be okay.
After work today, she came home and then we went out to dinner at one of the area restaurants we like. WHen we arrived, she peered in through the door and realized that her family was there, including her big sister, in from Chicago! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!
She was both very surprised and very happy. Dinner was great. And onthe ride home, we passed, and then returned to watch, a couple bambis by the road.
A good evening, all around!
