MBTI and the Web
May. 28th, 2005 09:04 pmI have, off and on for more than 5 years, been slowly working on an on-line tutorial about Giftedness, designed for a variety of learning and thinking styles.
As part of that, I was going to have my readership approximate their MBTI types, thinking that might help channel their paths a bit and make the site more effective3 for them. Logically, I was going to include both a snippet on each of the MBTI types (with links for more data) and info about the discrepancy between the accumulated info on MBTI, in general, and MBTI in gifted folks.
As a precursor to that, I put up a grid of the types and links to a page for each. It sat, until last week, empty, unfilled in, but findable.
And find it people did... But not even remotely in even distribution!!!

The overwhelming tilt towards I, N, and P interests me. That the T/F tilt, while still strong, is the weakest, is also of note. It is not info based - there was no data in any of them but the name of the entry.
