As I meander around the net, I keep finding fascinating sites there is too little time to explore fully. Sometimes, these are neat enough that I want to share them in places other folks might see them, just in case they have not yet seen them. Here are three two in that category:

Encyclopedia Mythica - http://www.pantheon.org/
An award-winning internet encyclopedia of mythology, folklore, and religion in which you will find everything from A-gskw to Zveda Vechanyaya, with plenty in between. The mythology section is divided to six geographical regions: Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, Middle East, and Oceania. Each region has many clearly defined subdivisions that will ease your search. (description theirs)

The Internet Sacred Text Archive - http://www.sacred-texts.com/index.htm
This is a quiet place in cyberspace devoted to religious tolerance and scholarship.
Open Source for the Human Soul: World Religions, Traditions, Mysteries.
Everything from The Barddas of Iolo Morganwg, Volume I to The Child Ballads to The 9/11 Commission Report! (First two lines from their description, last is mine.)

The third is was The Indo-European Database, but it seems to be off-line now. It was at indoeuro.bizland.com
"We have never seen one another. We live in different countries and have different occupations. But we all share a passion for the linguistic and cultural history of Indo-European peoples, and each of us has decided to tell the virtual community of the Internet about their research and reflections on Indo-European matters. As we ran our websites and searched for kindred spirits on the web, we met up there and eventually decided to unify our efforts by creating a single database of information on Indo-European topics.

The aim of The Indo-European Database (TIED) is to provide those interested in the language, history and culture of various Indo-European peoples with access to reliable sources of information, including libraries, research centers and academic institutions. We realize that only the joint efforts of many enthusiasts can ensure the success of such an ambitious plan."

I have sent off an inquiry to see what is up with that site.
