Prepping to teach Improbable Histories
Jan. 2nd, 2007 04:19 amI've been enjoying figuring out which resources I would use for this course. There are far too many to be able to do a significant number of them, especially since this is not just an alternative histories course but also one for future histories.
But I was very surprised to find out there the book:
President Gore... And Other Things That Never Happened. by Duncan Brack. It is an anthology of essays about "counter-factual" possibilities; the second from that publisher.
Amazon shows it, but without one's being able to purchase it for immediate delivery. It does show up here: http://www.politicos.co.uk/books/25882.htm?ginPtrCode=10410&identifier=
