jadedsquirrel noted that Antioch College (in Yellow Springs, OH) is closing down for financial/enrollment reasons, in 2008.

This is very sad, and not only for her.

They hope to be able to reopen in a few years. It's a risky move. This is the second comparatively recent closing of a progressive undergraduate institution. I hope the others are more secure and doing better.
