So, the never ending quest to prove that even conspiracy theorists have a sense of humor...

In one of the 70000 threads on a forum that is discussing if Obama (or McCain) are really U.S. citizens, I just posted the following:

Baruke Skybama: "You killed my father!"

Darth McCain: "Baruke, I am your father!"

Baruke Skybama: "Noooooooooooooooo!"

I found you via ricevermicelli, who says that you are connected to GCP (http://www.giftedconferenceplanners.org), and recommended that I bug you about Chicago, and the possibility of having a conference/event/whatever out here. So I'm bugging you. :)

For context, I am a gifted adult who is married to another gifted adult and homeschooling three children, one of whom is probably gifted, one of whom is probably highly gifted, and one of whom is too young to tell (he just turned 1) (but I have my fond suspicions anyway :). We are also in the process of trying to get our middle child evaluated for Asperger's/Autism/something along those lines, which of course will have to include an assessment of his giftedness, since we know enough to know that giftedness can interact in funky ways with the other things we think are going on. We'd love to have an opportunity to get together with other families in the Chicago area dealing with similar stuff.
