Who wants to sign up for the Iron Feghoot?

I've seen a number of Iron Poetry posts on my friendslist (hi, cadhla!), but not the ultimate in artistic challenge: the Iron Feghoot, featuring those who are willing to take a few elements and spin a short-short story that is the ultimate in fannish punishment.

Here are the rules:

1. Sign up in the comments of this post. No, you can't volunteer ex-friends.
2. Friday (Dec 9), I'll invite those who have not signed up as contestants to submit one word each as elements to be used in the Feghoot, as a comment in that post.
3. Sunday evening (Dec 11), I will randomly select five of the words to be the First LiveJournal International World Feghoot Challenge. All those who have signed up by this Friday will be eligible to write an entry in the next week (by Friday, Dec 16), as a comment in that post.
4. The Feghoot must be no more than 350 words in length (footnotes and table text included). Because it will be a public post, please keep language to what you'd like my youngest nephew to see.
5. Saturday (Dec 17), I will post a poll for the world to vote on. This poll will last until 5 pm, Wedesnday Dec 20.
6. No purchases are necessary. But you do have to be an LJ member.
7. The monetary award will be the sum of all donations sent me to my post office box in Poughkeepsie, NY, as of last Friday. I have no post office box in Poughkeepsie.
