Pfeh. Don't worry, it's LJ. The easiest way to get used to it is to download a client and familiarize yourself with it. The one I use has a spell check. Knowing how to write some HTML comes in handy, but it's not necessary. As I explained to dragongstone, it's just not that hard. There are several FAQs on what to do, and how to do it, if you have the time and inclination to play with it.
